Do you react in ways that don’t

reflect the parent you want to be?

Workshop - The Parent you Choose to Be - Grounded Leadership at home

From reaction to choice in parenting

Parenting is one of the most meaningful and demanding things we do.

Even the most thoughtful, caring parents sometimes find themselves reacting in ways they later regret: raising their voice, shutting down, feeling overwhelmed, or stuck in the same pattern again.

These reactions don’t make us bad parents. They are automatic responses, they are driven by mental patterns that formed long before we became parents.

This workshop is not about parenting techniques. It’s about you — understanding what drives your reactions, and discovering how to choose a different response from a calmer, wiser place.

Three core components that help us move to parenting from a place of choice

Understand own Patterns

Grounded in neuroscience and Positive Intelligence®, we discover the ten well known patterns how we tend to self-sabotage, their origins and impact.

Learn to self-regulate

Lasting change comes from practice, not theory. You’ll strengthen new neural pathways through short daily exercises and reflection, creating real behavioural shifts that stick.

Become who you choose

Having a framework that provides alternatives and shape our behaviour that fosters connection, safety and trust is the key to your parenting potential.

Workshop-based learning with likeminded parents

You already care deeply. You already try. And yet some moments still catch you off guard — and you find yourself reacting in ways that don’t reflect the parent you want to be.

This workshop is for parents who are ready to look at what sits behind those moments. In a small, confidential group you will explore the patterns driving reactive behaviour, understand the neuroscience behind why parenting can feel so triggering, and begin practising the shift to a calmer, more intentional response.

Learning alongside parents who are navigating the same moments creates something a book or podcast cannot — recognition, honesty, and insight that only comes when we feel safe enough to be real.

Because change doesn’t happen through information alone. It happens with practice in community with people who understand.

Your questions answered

What exactly is behind this approach?

It’s your capacity to handle life’s challenges with a positive, calm mindset rather than stress or reactivity. By training specific parts of the brain, you strengthen your ability to stay focused, grounded, and emotionally balanced.

what makes this different to other parenting workshops?

It combines neuroscience, Positive Intelligence® methodology, deep self-awareness and a toolset to manage oneself rather than looking at ‘parenting advice’.

Who is it for?

It is for any parent – mum or dad – who is interested in understanding their own pattern and behaviours in the most important role they play in their lives.

What kind of results can I expect?
